My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peanut has been such a wonderful addition to our foster family. We have been so blessed to help him on his journey to find his forever home.

Peanut is a Biggy Iggy at 20 pounds. He just celebrated his 6th birthday in January. He has been with us for 10 months now. He has really grown into a confidant young man. He no longer the shy young boy that also suffered from separation anxiety when he is crated. He actually uses his crate as his safety zone if he wants to get away from his foster siblings. He also doesn't mind hanging out in his crate while we are gone. He would be OK in a home where someone either works from home or with someone that is not gone longer than 4 or 5 hours.

He is such a sweet love bug. He likes nothing better then to curl up next to you on the couch. We call him our big blanket stealing couch potato it doesn't matter whether it is summer or winter he loves to be curled up under a blanket.

Peanut loves to go for long walks and car rides. He loves to meet new people and is always the friendliest one when we have visitors. They take one look in his big brown eyes and immediately fall under his charming spell. He gets along well with his 4 foster siblings he does prefer the ladies and would love to have a sister all to himself. He would also do well as an only dog.

Peanut is 99% house trained he goes to the back door when it is time to do his business. But if you miss his signal he may water your trash can.
