Meet the adorable Miss Gia, a 10 week old Catahoula mix. Gia and her sibling were left of the side of the road and it took rescuers five hours to catch them. Although Gia had a traumatic experience it does not hold her back. She is an extremely outgoing affectionate puppy who loves to give kisses and snuggle. She is being fostered with three dogs that range in size from 30 to 100 pounds and she loves to play with all of them. Gia is a very playful pup and is very eager to learn. She is crate trained and is working on her house training. She would love an active home that can give her the mental and physical stimulation that all puppies deserve.
Miss Gia is a Catahoula mix and is as of 04/04/2016 estimated to be 10 weeks old. She is fostered with cats and dogs. She is currently too young to be spayed and will be adopted out with a Spay/Neuter Contract.
If you are interested in adopting Gia please email firstname.lastname@example.org and request an application. Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted via email or phone by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family.
If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered.
Gia's adoption donation is $350 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heart worm test when appropriate and is on preventative, and microchip. In addition, there will be a “Spay/Neuter” contract attached to Gia’s adoption that will include a refundable $100 deposit upon proof of alter. We do not have a physical shelter, all of our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada
