Facts about Cleo

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black (All)
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Cleo is a beautiful big girl. She is black, with short hair. She is also declawed. She is at least seven years old. We are not sure of her age because she was dropped off in a carrier in front of the sanctuary in the dead of night. Because of this betrayal by her family, Cleo needs a lot of love and understanding. When she really gets to know you, then she will be affectionate. Cleo makes a lot of noise as if she doesn’t want loving, but she really does want it. Being abandoned caused her to be distrustful. She needs a kind and patient human friend who can bring her around and let her know that she can relax and accept love and attention. Then she will give back, because she has a good heart. She really needs a home to improve the quality of her life and bring out her loving nature. She doesn’t seem to worry if there are other cats around so would be okay in either a multi-cat household, or as the only cat in the house
