Edgar Allen Poe – who is usually just called “Edgar” is a sort of a hidden gem. He’s a black short-haired male, about five years old, with a very handsome face. Not everybody knows about Edgar because he is very shy and hangs out by himself most of the time, out of sight. But when he gets brave and comes out for petting, he is incredibly sweet and affectionate. Sometimes he gets in the groove enough to follow you around and ask for more. Not everybody takes the time to make themselves available to Edgar, because he’s out of sight a lot, due to his bashfulness. Edgar could really use a nice home with a gentle and sensitive human friend. He would be a sweet and loving companion! He would get along okay in a household with other cats, as long as they weren’t aggressive towards him. He would also be happy as the only kitty in the house.
