Paxton - Pending adoption's Story...
We have all heard that saying "good things come in small packages", well Paxton is proof of that. This little man is 3 years old and only weighs 37 pounds, he may be pint sized but his little stocky body is packed full of love. Paxton was found wandering a gravel road, he came to us smiling and tail wagging, such a happy face. We thought for sure he was a lost pet, but no one ever claimed him as their family. Paxton tested heartworm negative, which is a rare occasion in the area he was found in, so we do believe he was loved and cared for at one time, how he ended up on that gravel road, we may never know. What we do know is Paxton can warm hearts and bring smiles to anyone.
Paxton has been fully vaccinated, is on heartworm preventative, neutered, microchipped and is so, so ready to start his new life with a loving family.
Please apply to foster or adopt by visiting our website www.RuralAnimalRescueEffort.org
An application and home visit are required. Once your application is received, we will call you and answer any questions you have. All animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines prior to adoption.
Our adoption fees not only help the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heartworm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need to be made available for adoption.
Out of state adoptions are possible, and transport is provided at no additional cost to the adopter.
