TRIBBLE IN CA's Story...

Everyone loves Tribble - from animal shelter staff, to veterinary clinic technicians, to friends and neighbors. I've had this little guy for just over 2 weeks and he hasn't had an accident yet. He loves being cuddled, going on walks, and car rides in his booster car seat. He does suffer from separation anxiety so he would love to be in a home with other playful dogs so he knows he is safe and won't be left alone. Since he's underweight he's not too crazy about cold weather. However, he sure enjoys being in the back yard soaking up the sun! He's not food or treat obsessive. Tribble doesn't mind sleeping in his snug crate with the door open but he doesn't like being crated when he's alone. Keep your eyes on this little fellow! He's a real sweetheart and is sure to find his forever home very soon!

TRIBBLE is being fostered in PASADENA, CALIFORNIA in a PRIVATE FOSTER HOME but we allow our dogs to be adopted out all over the United States and Canada!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TRIBBLE IN CA, a Portland Cairn Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Cairn Terrier puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
