She has a great temperament, and is calm, quiet, and sweet. She is great with both adults and children. She is quiet in the crate and rides well in the car. She is a good running buddy and loves to keep you company. Hazel has been good with the other medium and large dogs. She has small animal aggression/prey drive so does not do well with small dogs and cats, unfortunately (so therefore could not go to an off-leash dog park). She has a very loving, cuddly personality, and you can tell she just wants to find her person would do anything for them. Hazelnut would do great with a single owner or a family, and should get a chance to exercise, some obedience training, and most importantly, lots of attention and love. An owner with a flexible schedule or who can have Hazel curl up under their office desk would be ideal.
Hazelnut's adoption fee is $350 and includes her spay, up-to-date basic vaccines, up-to-date rabies vaccine, dewormer, and microchip. Even though the rescue is based in Eastern Washington, she is in a foster home near Seattle, and she can be transported to an approved adopter.
