Gertrude was born 8-1-2013. Her parents were both purebred pits. Gertrude weighs around 50 pounds. She is built short and stocky. She is a sweet laid back dog. She gets along with other dogs great. She is great with people and she has never met a human stranger. She is submissive and humble. She loves riding in the car and rides quietly sitting in her seat. She has traveled with us and is an excellent motel companion. She is crate trained and potty trained. She walks quietly on a loose leash. Her only downfall is she is not good with cats. She needs to go to a home with a larger breed dog as a friend. She won't be placed in a home with small dogs or a home with very small children. She has never given me a reason to believe she would be nothing but perfect, but that is just our policy regarding our pit rescues.
She is spayed, current on shots, on heart worm prevention, current on de-worming and flea prevention.. She is micro-chipped. She will go with 1 free month of pet health insurance.
We do require a pre screen application to apply. You can get that on our web site at www.saveamuttkennel.info
