Kitara's Info...

I am in need of an experienced adopter.

Kitara's Story...
Kitara was surrended to us when their owner could no longer take care of them. She is a spunky little girl and loves to play. She is bonded to one of the ferrets she was surrended with and they would have to be adopted together. We will not separate bonded ferrets. Kitara is spayed and has never bit. She could use some work with litter box training. We are very strict when it comes to adopting out our ferrets and it tends to be a longer adoption process than the other species we work with. If you're interested in Kitara (and Rowan), please fill out our adoption application here:

Their adoption fee is $100. For more information, email us at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kitara, a Belton Ferret was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Ferret for sale in Belton, or seeking a Ferret from a breeder in Belton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Belton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Belton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Ferret breeders who help with Ferret rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Belton paves the way for another one to be saved.
