Buddy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Buddy's Story...
Buddy is a 2-year old neutered black with tan male Shepherd mix, who weighs about 55 lbs. (he's actually working on adding a few pounds). He is very sweet, but shy at first, and will bond very well with his forever family. He walks nicely on a leash and is great with other dogs and appears to be good with dog-savvy cats, as well. He knows commands of "sit" and "shake." He is housetrained.

Buddy would do fine with gentle children 7 years and older.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Vista Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Vista, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
