Persephone (Seffie to her Besties) is a gorgeous, independent, active young gal just waiting for a special cat-experienced family to give her a home of her very own. Her caregiver calls Seffie her “Spice Girl” for her high-spirited, and sometimes sassy, personality. Seffie has a beautiful, fluffy, tabby-patterned with white coat and big round, soulful eyes.
At just 3 years old, Seffie is very people-oriented and high-energy. She loves any kind of entertaining toys and takes her playtime very seriously. Good sturdy wand toys would be a great way to give her the human interaction she desires, while protecting delicate human fingers. Seffie would love a home with a safe closed-in outdoor space, such as a screened in porch or “catio”, outfitted with lots of places to sun herself, birdwatch, and keep tabs on the neighbors.
Being the independent gal that she is, Seffie needs time to herself and will let her people know when she’s had enough socializing for the moment. Seffie will fit in best with a cat-experienced family looking for a fun, active, and sometimes feisty feline to brighten up their home.
Persephone has learned to get along with the other cats in her foster home. Her caregiver is working with her to determine if she would enjoy the company of a doggie companion. With her “spicy” personality, a home without young children would be best.
Persephone is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations, and has tested negative for FeLV/FIV. She is very ladylike, always using her litter box.
Persephone is located in Damascus, VA. If you are interested in adopting her, please contact Ms. Stewart at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 276-492-9322.
