My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Baskin is an adorable little guy who loves to have fun and give lots of kisses. He was in a high Kill Shelter in Texas and I brought him here to give him a chance at a new life with soam not sure meone who would love them. He just loves children and children love him. He will kiss you endlessly. He is crate trained and seem to be house broken. He should be in a home with just them. I know he loves other dogs. He is very sweet and lovable. He loves attention and will cuddle and lick you all day if you let would allow him. You could not ask for a more sweeter baby to have in your home.

His donation fee is $200.00 He will give you never ending love,

The donation fee helps offset the needs of the other dogs at our rescue and the expenses incurred on this baby.

Adopting a dog that has been moved from a home to a shelter and then to a rescue is not for everyone. It takes time and patience to make that dog feel at home in his new environment. It takes at least 1 week and usually up to a month for a dog to acclimate to your schedule and home. An animal shelter is the most stressful place for a dog to be, with other dogs barking and not knowing what is happening around them. Some dogs come to their new home scared and timid. They will sometimes take several days before they start eating and have anything to do with the new adopters.
PLEASE, if you aren't willing to work with your new rescue and let them get to know you at their own pace, please don't apply for one of my dogs. Returning a dog within 24-48 hours of picking it up is hard on the dog and hard on the rescuer. Go to a breeder if you want a cute little puppy that wags its tail when he sees you. He hasn't been through what a rescue dog has been through.
It's not easy rescuing a dog. It takes patience and time and LOVE. These dogs need love and understanding, not another rejection.
