Tiger's Story...
Tiger
Adult Male Boxer x Red Heeler
Pulled from Vici Animal Control.

Total people dog! Naturally playful, curious and trusting canine. Fun-loving, happy-all-the-time, glass-is-half-full kind of dog looking for someone who loves to laugh and play around. Gets along well with female/submissive dogs. Does good with kiddos - needs children that have their sea legs as he's a big boy and could easily knock a toddler down. Physically strong dog! Needs someone who can handle him. He is currently being worked with on his basic obedience. Does pretty well on the leash. Big puppy. Would fit great in an active young home or possible farm setting. Beautiful boy bubbling with love and fun ready for his new furever home!

Adoption fee covers (if not done already) vaccinations, spay/neuter, and flea/tick/de-worming treatments.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiger, a Woodward Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Woodward, or seeking a Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Woodward.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woodward already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woodward breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Boxer/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woodward paves the way for another one to be saved.
