Truffle's Story...
This gorgeous baby girl is Truffle, a playful and loving pup who is looking for a family to call her own. She is about two months old and around 12 pounds. Her mom is a beautiful medium sized pit bull mix who was picked up by a rural county animal control along with her four very young puppies. We do not know who the father is, so it's unknown how big she will get. If she takes after her mom, she will be well under 50 pounds.

Truffle loves to play with people of any age and other dogs. After play time, she enjoys curling up in a comfy lap for a puppy snooze. She makes the cutest little pig noises!

If you are interesting in providing this sweet pup with a loving FOREVER home, please complete an adoption application via our website www.cofas.org.

If you have questions please email fostermomjudy@gmail.com.

She will be spayed and microchipped on April 6 and ready for a furever home on April 7. The adoption donation is $165.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Truffle, a Greensboro American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
