Carmine's Story...
Carmine is a sweet, outgoing, and friendly puppy who was born at his foster family's home on 1/25/16. His mother is a Deer Head Chihuahua who weighs just 5 lbs. We don't know what kind of dog Carmine's father was, but believe Carmine will be about 13-15 lbs when full grown.

Carmine has been raised with his brothers and sisters for the past 11 weeks and is now ready to go to his new home. Carmine has been around other dogs and cats and is currently in a foster home, where he will remain until he is adopted.

If you would like to meet Carmine, contact his foster mom, Amy, at 281-728-2248 to schedule an appointment to meet him.

Carmine's adoption fee is $100 and includes vaccines, microchipping, neutering, and free vet exam.

Act quickly to adopt Carmine. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carmine, a Friendswood Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Friendswood, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Friendswood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Friendswood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Friendswood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Friendswood paves the way for another one to be saved.
