Kayla's Story...
Kayla is a lovely and very affectionate German Shepherd. She lost her home when her owner died. She and he were constant companions, and she sat by his bed howling over his loss. Kayla has all the best characteristics of a German Shepherd. She is sensitive, highly intelligent, playful, loyal and steady. Kayla is 10 years old and in excellent health, although she needs to lose about 15 pounds. Playing with her ball is a favorite game, and she loves walking and has lots of energy. She needs a family who has time to give her the attention, companionship and exercise she needs for her very social nature. Kayla is housebroken and knows basic commands, and she will learn anything you care to teach her in short order. Kayla is spayed and vaccinated.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kayla, a Hackettstown German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Hackettstown, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Hackettstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hackettstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hackettstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hackettstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
