Give Norman some tasty treats, and he'll return the favor by learning almost anything you would like him to know.
This smart, affectionate boy is quick to pick up on commands. He obeys the 'sit' and 'stay' orders and, being very treat motivated and trainable, he's ready to learn many more.
When he's not being schooled, Norman loves being petted in the play yard between playing fetch and tug-o-war with his people. Then he wants to go for walks where he can sniff and check out all those interesting sights and sounds. He walks well on his harness.
Norman can be selective about befriending other dogs, so a meet-and-greet with a potential dog housemate is advisable. Norman will be a happy companion for adopters and their older kids who can keep him occupied with playing fetch, going for walks and jogs and continuing his training - with those tasty treats. Come visit and see if he's your future running buddy.
And remember, all APA adoptions come with free behavior assistance through APA's behavior team. And when you adopt a dog from APA, you are saving not one, but two lives - the life of the dog you're bringing into your home, and the next dog APA can save in the adopted dog's place.
