Rose is a three year old Boxer mix. She first came to the shelter after her owner became too ill to care for her. She was adopted but had to be returned when the other dog in the household didn't get along with her. She has been spayed and microchipped. She does NOT like cats. She does not do well with young kids. She is better with kids 15 and up. She does have some separation issues and needs to be crated at night.
At least here at the shelter her basic needs are met, like food and water plus a roof over her head. However, she is longing to find her forever home. She has plenty of love to give. Do you have room in your heart and your home for her?? If you have kids or other pets at home, please come and have a meet-n-greet with her.
She is a young lady at heart. She has been checked out by a veterinarian. She received a set of preventative shots and has been wormed. She tested negative for heartworms.
She is being sponsored by Sheltered Paws Dog Rescue. That means they are providing you with a getting started Goodie Bag when you adopt me. The bag contains a collar, leash, ID tag, training DVD, CD with helpful articles, booklet with training information, toy, and treats. You will receive a Rebate Certificate that can be used towards payment of a training course with the trainer of your choice. Sheltered Paws will rebate back to you a dollar value up to but not to exceed $100.00.
