Meet Oliver (Ollie for short)!

Oliver lives at the Mazie's Mission Rescue Clinic in Frisco, Texas. He greets every person who comes into the clinic, and often will jump into the laps of clients waiting to check out in the lobby. Ollie doesn't mind dogs at all, and is very comfortable with them. Like any clinic cat, he is very good at reading dog body language and avoids dogs who would like to harm him. Ollie is very close friends to our permanent resident cat Mr. P. They do everything together! Oliver was adopted as a kitten, and due to no fault of his own he was returned. Oliver is a very friendly outgoing cat who goes limp when you pick him up. He loves to be pet and his favorite thing is canned food. If you say "Can", he gets excited! Oliver does not like to come to events so it is hard to tell how sweet he is when he is here. Please feel free to come and visit him at the clinic during normal business hours to see his personality! Oliver is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped.
Oliver, Domestic Short Hair has been shared from Shelter Exchange.

About Mazie's Mission

About Our Rescue Group...

Mazie's Mission desires to be like no other sanctuary in the world! The founder, Erin Shults, DVM, has a passion for rescues and believes all animals deserve to live without pain or fear. Mazie's Mission is actively fund-raising to raise revenue to build a 'Animal Compound' that can include all animals in need. On the 40 plus acres that The Mission wishes to purchase, there are plans to build a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital that will be a healing sanctuary for all animals in a rescue situation-this hospital will not serve the public! Dr. Shults will be able to offer lower cost veterinary care for shelter animals all around the DFW metroplex and drastically decrease the euthanasia rate to allow rescue organization save more animals. Dr. Shults also wants to aid prosecutors in abuse and animal cruelty cases. She currently collects forensic evidence in neglect, hoarding, and cruelty cases for Collin County. Stricter laws are being passed that punish animal abusers and there is a need for people to collect the evidence to demand those sentences. Each time an animal from Mazie's Mission is adopted, the proceeds help us to reach our dream of a 'No-Kill Nation'. Through eliminating puppy mills, spay/neuter, and public education, the United States can end needless euthanasia!
