Mittens is a sweet and affectionate girl who loves attention, being held. and petted. Playing with balls and furry mice is a favorite past time. She is content tol play alone or with a human. She's never met a stranger and will head butt your faces and rub against you...a sure sign of her love!. She sleeps in her foster mom's bed at night and sometimes can be found laying wrapped around her head. She's make the purrfect apartment kitty!

At only 10mos-1 yr old, she has already been through so much..
Mittens was surrendered to a Baltimore shelter when she had life threatening pyometra (pus filled uterus) and her owners could not afford surgery. She was spayed and healed well. In addition, she appeared to have chronic nasal discharge and was treated for a URI (kitty cold). She has completed her medication and appears to have gotten over the URI. .We know she will thrive and continue to heal once in a loving home environment. Mittens also has a cloudy eye which it's unlikely she can see out of. While this loving kitty had a sad past, you can help us give her a bright future by opening up your heart & home.. Posted 4/10/16
