Dodger (Foster home needed)'s Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Dodger is a sweet shy boy. He likes girls and warms up to guys. He's still working on building his confidence so he does get nervous of things and is still learning how to play. He can be reactive to dogs but is doing well with training around them as long as it's a controlled environment. It would probably be best if he was the only dog in the home. He loves his crate which is excellent for his training. If unattended he will sometimes mark so initially supervision will be a must. He is doing great in his training so he knows all his commands and does great on leash. He will be an awesome dog to take out for daily walks and loves belly rubs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dodger (Foster home needed), a Denver American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Denver, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
