I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Rebel's Story...
Rebel is a beautiful and unique looking Shepherd mix rescue dog. He loves people and is good with everyone he meets, even strangers. He is good with other dogs, but cats tend to make him feel afraid. Rebel walks nicely on leash, and since he is still quite young he will benefit from continued socialization, as he can get nervous in new situations. Nearly full grown at a year old, Rebel currently weighs just over 52.8 pounds. Neutered, dewormed, and fully vaccinated, he is ready to be adopted. Saved by our sister group in Mexico, Rebel is receiving free transition boarding by Pet Pampering an alternative boarding and daycare on the Saanich Peninsula. Where social dogs have too much fun! If you would like to provide a loving home for Rebel, please email info.pvca@gmail.com for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rebel, a Victoria Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Victoria, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Victoria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Victoria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Victoria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Victoria paves the way for another one to be saved.
