Facts about Diamond (PA)

  • Breed: Chinese Crested
  • Color: White - With Gray Or Silver
  • Age: Senior
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Female
Diamond is a jewel among dogs! She is sweet and
pretty. She loves being with humans, she is my
shadow most of the time, except when she wants to
lay with the other dogs. She loves a warm pile of dogs
to lay with, but she usually plops on top of the other
dogs! She should not be an only dog, as she loves
her canine companions. When she wants something
she will jump very high, like a jumping bean!
She listens to directions and is happy to do what she
is asked to do. She willingly lets me dress her in
warm fleece PJs. She is potty trained and she will cry
to be let out. She loves mealtime-she eats with gusto!
But she wants the other dogs to share with her, so
she eats by herself so she doesn't try to help herself
to everyone else's food! She is a happy dog, I have
never heard a growl out of her. We were told that she is 12 years old,
but our veterinarian thinks that she is much younger. After routine tests, he believes her to be around 8 year old. She has a heart murmur, as
most older Cresteds do, but does not require
medication for it. If you are looking for a darling little
companion, Diamond is your girl!

About Bare Paws Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of volunteers who are dedicated to the rescue, care and re-homing of Chinese Crested dogs in need. We offer loving temporary homes, compassionate aid and veterinary care while working on finding the ideal permanent situation for each dog. We also work to educate the public so that there may be fewer Chinese Cresteds needing to come into rescue.

Our Adoption Process...

$300 adoption fee, which helps defray the cost of veterinary care-vaccinations, spaying or neutering, surgeries, heartworm treatment, etc. Adoption application must be submitted and a volunteer will screen references. Home visit required prior to adoption being approved, and adoption contract must be signed.
