Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This handsome boy needs a calm home environment, older children and a fenced backyard.
My name is Luie. I am a neutered 4 year old black cocker spaniel boy. I am looking for a new forever home because my owner could no longer afford to take care of me. She dearly loved me, had me for 3 years and it was really sad for her to say goodbye. She got me in 2013 when I was about a year old. My previous owner gave me up because I am a needy dog and she was gone a lot. She crate trained me because I have such a bad case of separation anxiety.
I am heartworm negative, updated on shots and I will have a dental done before I am adopted to a new home. I will do best with someone who works from home and can let me out often to do my business or someone who is home a lot and doesn't leave the house for long hours. I sometimes take a long time to do my business, so a fenced backyard is best for me. I enjoy being a house doggie and I am used to being crated, it's where I feel most secure and will need to be when you do have to leave for awhile. When I was a youngster, I had small kids rough house with me and they stressed me out pretty bad. That said, I need a home with children 12 years and older. I am a good boy and will be a great companion for someone to love in a relaxed, calm home environment. I like attention, love and would enjoy snuggle lap time with you. Maybe we could just spend quality time in front of the TV or take a walk to get my exercise. I am good at the groomer and do ok with dogs that are altered, but not so well with dogs that aren't fixed. Motorcycles scare me too. A calm home life is best for me ........I would love to be your new best friend and a great companion.
