Cody's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Cody's Story...
Cody was born on the streets of the San Fernando Valley on or about June 5, 2015 and was rescued from the shelter. He's a lab/shepherd/corgi mix.

For the first year of his life he's lived happily with a Sherman Oaks family, including a 10 year old daughter, a Pomeranian and two cats.

Cody has been Neutered and house trained. He tolerates cats and other dogs well. He spent three weeks living with a trainer, has been socialized at Bow Wow Bungalow and has learned some basic commands and leash walking.

Cody is a curious, sweet, sensitive boy who attaches to one owner and will happily sleep at your feet (and in your bed). He comes with a dog carrier, a high quality dog run and dog crate, where he also sleeps- as long as the dog crate door is in his run and the dog crate door is kept open.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cody, a Burbank Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in Burbank, or seeking a Corgi dog from a breeder in Burbank.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burbank already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burbank breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burbank paves the way for another one to be saved.
