Important Note

Sammie is best friends with Sadie. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Sam is an absolutely gorgeous long-haired Siamese mix who arrived with his sister, Sadie. Shyer and so confused by the dramatic changes in his life, Sam looks to Sadie for everything—she is his rock. So gentle and retiring, Sam is beginning to be more comfortable with us and the other cats in his room. Having lost his “mom” then his “dad” and home, this fellow needs a quiet and understanding family who will give him back the confidence he has lost. This beautiful and really loving boy is worth the time and energy it will take to turn his life his life from sad to glad!!

If you really want to make a difference for a wonderful pair of cats, then come meet our Sam and Sadie today! At twelve years of age, they are past the age most easily placed, but if you might consider this very bonded pair, you will be so glad that you gave them another chance at a home!

About Peninsula Friends of Animals

About Our Shelter...

Peninsula Friends of Animals is a cageless, no-kill, non profit animal welfare group serving the community since 2000. Our mission is to prevent the birth of unwanted cats and dogs through progressive spay/neuter and educational programs, and to place as many homeless, neglected or abused animals as possible in safe, loving, permanent homes.

Our Adoption Process...

Prospective adopters meet with our Shelter Manager to determine an appropriate match for our animals. The adopters sign an adoption contract that identifies the condition of the animal, approximate age, any health issues, and conditions of adoption (e.g. indoor only, no declawing, etc). Adoption fee is $85.00.

PFOA prefers to adopt to homes on the North Olympic Peninsula, but we do make (lots of) exceptions. Please call (360) 452-0414 to learn more about this kitty. A staff member will return your call.

All PFOA animals are vet-checked, current on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped, and combo tested for FIV / FeLV.
