Beauty's Story...
Helloooooooo! My name is Beauty and I'm a hound girl that loves to get attention and bay at passing squirrels. I"m a very friendly girl that doesn't mind other dogs, and has plenty of spunk. I was brought into the shelter as a stray after I had run in front of a car. Luckily, the person in the car stopped and I went running up to them for some cuddle time. They brought me to the shelter so I could find my owners, but unfortunately they never came. So now I am up for adoption! I'm a big girl with an even bigger heart, but unfortunately I am special needs because I am heartworm positive. I am currently starting treatment, and even if I got adopted Al-Van would pay for my treatment at the clinic of their choice. Otherwise you can pay for the treatment if you want it to be at your vet instead! I'm a sweet girl who ended up here at the shelter and I don't deserve it. Could you adopt me today? Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beauty, a South Haven Coonhound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Coonhound (Unknown Type) for sale in South Haven, or seeking a Coonhound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in South Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Coonhound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Coonhound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
