Facts about Pickles - Barn Cat

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: White (Mostly)
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Pickles has been at the shelter since 10-9-14. He has just about grown up in a shelter, as he was never socialized at an early age. He is not aggressive, just scared of people. Sometimes we are able to pet him, but it is few and far between. He is almost 2yrs old now. Pickles would do best as an outdoor cat, or as we call them, a “barn cat.” You do NOT need to have a barn. Any decent shelter will do, including a barn, shed, garage, etc. If you have a bit of space and a shelter for a barn cat (or two, or three!) please get in touch with us! We have an entire room full of “barn cats” who would be so happy to get out of the shelter and onto a piece of property where they can hunt mice and relax. All of our barn cats are $25 each, and they are up to date on all vaccines, spayed/neutered, and tested negative for FIV/FELV.

About Common Sense For Animals

About Our Shelter...

CSA was founded in 1990 by Veterinarian, Robert R Blease, DVM to provide an organization where all persons and groups can logically and intellectually discuss all issues affecting animal welfare. CSA has a "common sense" philosophy regarding food animals, wildlife, research and companion pets. We operate a No-kill Shelter and believe education and community service are our most valuable assets.
