Shadow's Story...
Shadow and Sparky are two very fine 10 year old brothers waiting for a furever home. They have a funny habit of splashing the water in their bowls. The love to drink out of the faucet and can often be found in the sink. They're quite bonded and must be adopted together. It's not uncommon to see them walk side by side with their tails intertwined.

In any case, these boys would be a perfect addition to a family. Shadow, the all grey one, is shy and tends to not be as social. He's very independent. Sparky is grey and white and more outgoing and sociable than his brother. They get along with other nice cats. We do not know how they would do with dogs or children since they've never been around either.

Our cats must be adopted to live indoors only and may NOT be de-clawed. For more information about PAWS or to fill out an application visit: www.pawsct.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shadow, a Norwalk Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
