Meet Marty McFly!
Marty McFly is an adorable 15-pound, 1-1/2 year-old Shih Tzu/Cairn terrier mix who loves to follow his foster mama around and sleep in bed with her at night. He was very quiet when he first came to his foster home, but he has since found his voice and his play stance! He and his 55-pound Schnauzer mix foster brother love playing—and cuddling—together!
Marty has had a few potty accidents since coming to his foster home, but overall has been doing well with going to the bathroom outside. Because Marty is tiny, even his accidents are tiny, so foster mom doesn't mind cleaning them up!
This sweet little man loves going for car rides and giving good kisses/face washes in the morning. The weather has been yucky so he's not been on any walks yet, but he does well in his crate when foster mom is at work (and she's gone more than 9 hours each day). When foster mom is home, Marty wants to know where she is at all times, even if he doesn't necessarily cuddle with her regularly.
We should let you know Marty has proven himself to be a bit of an escape artist, so it's important his forever family has him on leash outside or watch him closely, even with a fenced-in yard.
Contact Canine Cupids to meet this handsome little dude today!
Marty McFly’s adoption fee is $250 and he is being fostered in southeastern Wisconsin. Because all our Cupids are fostered in private homes, an approved application MUST be on file before proceeding with a meet-and-greet. The online application can be found at http://www.caninecupids.org/adopt-.html.

Our Thoughts on Visual Breed Identification
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable. For most of our adoptable Cupids we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think it’s most important is to get to know each dog as an individual! We then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personalities in order to determine whether they’ll make good companions based on prospective adopters’ lifestyles. Dog behavior is not exclusive to breed — it’s a complex mix of nature and nurture.
