4/7/16 - Meet Buford!

Bella, Berti, Boonie and Buford. These pups are 2 to 3 months old and weigh between 21 to 25 pounds. These pups are lucky to be healthy and safe in our rescue since they were dumped out by a garbage dump. Sadly, someone actually considered these sweet little pups to be garbage.
They are fun loving little pups with a delightful spirit. They will seem shy at first but they warm up quickly. They love to explore everything and can find delight in the smallest of things such as a sock. They will bring a smile on your face at any point of the day. They are sweet and kind hearted but have spent their whole lives in foster care.

Please consider giving Buford the forever home that she deserves!

The adoption fee of $375 includes age-appropriate vaccines, initial de-worming, spay/neuter surgery, microchip, USDA interstate health certificate (for transport only) and transport fee. Please go to our site for general information and the adoption application. The application is the first step in all adoptions/inquiries. This is not a link; please type in into a new browser window. At this time, we are unable to adopt to Rhode Island residents. Please note: Pups marked “pending” are adopted but not yet traveled home. They are to be considered unavailable. Thank you. Additional information is available on our site

About For Dogs Sake

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small, volunteer organized and run dog rescue. We work with shelters and rescue groups in AR & AL to find homes for their locally unwanted, but highly loveable puppies and dogs. The pups and dogs are brought to New England on transport once their vaccinations are up to date for travel. We are always in need of foster homes for our pups; the more we have, the more pups can be saved.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Appointments can be made to visit some pups at their foster homes at mutually convenient times for adopters and foster parents. (The pups are up for a visit anytime!)

Our Adoption Process...

We require the potential adopter to fill out an application form and tell us about what life would be like as a puppy at your house. The address to the adoption form can be found in the pups' bio. Once the application is received, we will check your references and then contact you for an informal "phone interview." If it is mutually determined to be a good match, an adoption contract is sent via email. Our adoption fee is stated in their bios, and is due at the time of adoption. A signed and dated adoption contract is due at puppy pick up.
