Bella's Info...

I am already spayed and up to date with shots.

Bella's Story...
Bella is a beautiful 2 year old spayed female who was surrendered to the NHS when things were not working out in her new home. When Bella first arrived she was extremely matted and was clearly uncomfortable. She has since been to the groomer where she was shaved and relieved of any discomfort she was experiencing. Bella will require daily grooming to avoid any matting or other coat problems in the future. Bella is a bit of a diva and would do well in a home with no small children as she does not enjoy being picked up. She has also made it clear since her arrival that she does not enjoy the company of other kitties.
Bella's adoption fee is only $120 which includes her spay, de-fleaing, de-worming, all shots up to date, a microchip and 6 weeks free pet insurance. To meet Bella pop into the shelter located at 371 Ward Street in Port Hope open Monday - Saturday 11:00 - 4:00 pm. You can also contact us with any questions by phone at 905-885-4131.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Port Hope Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Port Hope, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Port Hope.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Port Hope already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Port Hope breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Port Hope paves the way for another one to be saved.
