Description:

Baby Blues the WREX-TV Pet of the Week did an awesome job during his television debut on 3/24/16! He was so well behaved and loved every minute of it. He is about 4 years old and whoever said an old dog can't learn new tricks hasn't met Baby Blues yet! He has come a long way thanks to the staff and volunteers working with him on basic commands. He now understands 'sit' and 'down' and is working on 'give.' He enjoys playing fetch and LOVES treats! He is very treat motivated which is great for a family that can offer him some more consistent training. He has a moderate amount of energy but really enjoys just sitting next to you too. He even was sitting and behaving so well during the Pet of the Week interview because he thought the reporter had treats in his pocket! =) He has been here since December so it is time for Baby Blues to find a happy home. Come visit with this sweet boy who has stunning eyes and a stunning personality!
He is a Lonely Hearts Club member so his adoption fee is half-price at $55, sponsored by the Winnebago County Animal Services Volunteer Auxiliary.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baby Blues *Illinois, a Fulton Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Fulton, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Fulton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fulton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fulton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fulton paves the way for another one to be saved.
