Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Savanna saved from a high kill shelter on Easter Sunday. A true miracle. She is spayed, had a great vet check up, grooming and dental.
She definitely is a lady who would like to get out and about. If you like to walk for exercise, Savanna is a great workout buddy. She likes long walks.
She is sweet and curious. A great cuddler, she is eager to give kisses. She likes belly rubs, hanging out on your lap watching tv. She loves car rides. Savanna can dance on her hind legs for treats and attention.
Savanna is quiet. She doesn't bark at the mailman or doorbell. She is good with adult house guests. (No testing with children under10)
She walks like a pro on the leash, she likes sitting outside at coffee shops and dog friendly restaurants. She did great at the outlet mall, walking with lots of people and other pets.
Savanna did well with foster furries, but she likes all the attention. She would like to be a only dog or be in charge.
She is trained to do her business outside. She alerts when she needs out, she does use puppy pads.
Savanna doesn't beg at meal time and likes car rides. She likes a dog bed, or your pillow, she wants to be as close to you as possible. She sits for treats and prefers to eat a couple of small meals a day.
Everyone has a little baggage from their past. The two bad things we learned about Savanna is she doesn't like trips to the vet. She hates crates. She doesn't like scrub type uniforms. So if you prepare for the vet visits by carrying her. Savanna has not grooming experience, she didn't like it much.
If you have a dog bed, or will share yours, you have some patience, and are active you will be great for Savanna....
Because of her fear of crates and the vet...we would like to make sure she is adopted to a mature home. She loves attention so, a active senior home would be preferred. We are committed to making her successful.
