My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Max the Magnificent! He's a 1.5 year old American Bulldog mix that is a shelter favorite. Max was given to his family by a friend as a puppy. He is a big lug. Leery of strangers at first, but once he warms up is a big baby. He loves walks and can be a very active dog. When he is worn out he enjoys cuddling. Max is unaware of his size so it's possible that small children may get knocked over. He lived with a smaller dog but Max let him run the show. He also thinks he is a lap dog and likes to snuggle up. Max is very strong and could use some leash training. He has never been around cats. This good boy also enjoys rides in the car and is house trained. If you like big dogs, get off the porch and run to Friendship to adopt Max. Max was recently adopted and returned. He did not get along with the other dog in the family. It may be best if Max is the only dog in his next family.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
