Lucky's Story...
Momma Pixie came to us with her sister Dixie from a high kill shelter. Both of these girls were extremely pregnant and delivered just days after we got them settled into their foster homes. Pixie And Dixie are 2-3 year old Doxie mixes. Each of these pretty girls weighs right around 18lbs. Both girls are extremely sweet and have settled in nicely to their foster home. They are doing great with house and kennel training and are getting along well with all the animals in their foster home. Both girls are utd, hw tested and will be spayed as soon as the babies are finished nursing. Pixie's puppies were born on St. Patrick's Day. Pixie and her litter will be ready for their forever homes on 5/19. Dixie's babies were born on 3/21 and this precious family will be ready for their forever homes on 5/23. We are unsure of the father to each litter but we believe it could be a Boston terrier.

As the puppies grow and start to develop personalities we will update pics and info.

Puppies have a adoption fee of $150 which includes vet check, age appropriate shots, dewormer, rabies shot if atleast 16 weeks of age and spay! Puppies can not go to their adoptive families until they have had 2 sets of shots and been spayed. With an approved application a puppy can be reserved if a $50 non refundable deposit is put down! The deposit will be applied to the adoption fee and $100 will be due at the time of pick up! Get your applications in now!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky, a Grand Bay Dachshund/Boston Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Boston Terrier for sale in Grand Bay, or seeking a Dachshund/Boston Terrier puppy from a breeder in Grand Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Boston Terrier breeders who help with Dachshund/Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
