Phoenix's Story...
Phoenix is a very sweet and loving girl. She is very new to the shelter and is slow to adjust to new situations. She will need a patient owner that will allow her time to adjust to her new home. She was surrendered with her brother, Bear and they are very comfortable together. She would do best with older children or a calmer home environment. She will require a fenced-in yard. She has not been tested with other dogs, or cats at this time.

* All HSSCM dogs are spayed/neutered, utd on age appropriate vaccines, micro chipped, de-wormed, heartworm tested and on heartworm prevention.
Phoenix adoption fee is $100.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phoenix, a Battle Creek Rottweiler/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Battle Creek, or seeking a Rottweiler/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Battle Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Battle Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Battle Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Rottweiler/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Battle Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
