Terrier Mix
DOB: 2/26/08
Weight: 24 Pounds

Lita is a genteel girl that enjoys the company of humans and gets along with other easy going dogs that don’t require her to play too rough. She likes a quiet environment, enjoys going on walks and exploring at the park. She is not fond of being picked up and probably will be happiest with an owner or family that can respect her needs. Lita is house-trained with a doggie door.

Lita will thrive with a gentle family or owner who is looking for a companion and will include her in all aspects of their life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lita, a Mountain Center Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Mountain Center, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Mountain Center.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mountain Center already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mountain Center breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mountain Center paves the way for another one to be saved.
