My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shebaz (needs foster home) tricolor lg male adult. Akita/Rottie - special needs - no nothing
Shebaz is a large, well mannered male Akita blend that was said to be a senior at first (we later found out he is about 5-6 years old) from Boston Animal Control, MA.Shebaz was turned in by his owner after being picked up stray, at the time it appeared Shebaz was in an emaciated state. At first it was thought he was starved, however it was later discovered by the vet he had some medical issues that would require someone who can manage them effectively. This big boy will need to be kept on a special diet, medication, and a routine to manage his glomerular disease which was confirmed by the vet (for more info on Glomerular Disease in Dogs please see link below) . A home without children and other pets would be best. If you feel you have the right foster/home for this fellow, please fill out an online adoption application, as best as you can and we will get back to you.

You can find our application at: www.bigeastakitarescue.net

Thank You so much !!
