Buddy's Story...
Buddy is a 3 year old, heartworm negative, American Staffie. I am not sure how he is around children, maybe no small children, but he does not like cats, and is very dog selective so an only dog home would be best. He is a wiggle butt, and loves people. He is learning to walk on a leash, and loves to go for rides in the car. Buddy is more of a manly mans dog. He needs a very strong handler and someone who can teach him proper behavior. He just wants a warm home, a cozy couch, and of course belly rubs. He is up to date on shots, neutered, and microchipped. He is currently in TX, but transport can be arranged. If you would like more information, please email me at psdrescue@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a San Antonio American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
