Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Dolly's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and not good with dogs.

Dolly's Story...
This beautiful baby just turned 1 year old and is all puppy. What we know about Dolly is that she is full of energy, very playful, affectionate and just loves to give kisses and to be by your side at all times.
Dolly has a neurological condition that results in her walking with a high stepping gait. She is otherwise an active Golden girl full of life and love. The family we seek for Dolly will have a Mom or Dad that is home more than not, a fenced in yard (no e-fences) and a commitment to continue to provide her with positive obedience training that all young pups need. Because Dolly was attacked and injured by her former owner's dogs, Dolly is now fearful of and reactive to dogs so she is best placed in a home as the only dog.
If you meet the above minimum requirements for Dolly and live within our adoption area of Naples-Tampa you are invited to visit our website at www.GCGRR.org to read our adoption policy and send us your application completely filled out which is the first step in our process. Questions may be emailed to GoldensInNeed@aol.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dolly, a Murdock Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Murdock, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Murdock.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Murdock already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Murdock breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Murdock paves the way for another one to be saved.
