Ziggy's Story...
Case #11908. Ziggy was born September, 2015. His previous owners couldn't keep him so Ziggy is at the shelter waiting to be adopted by you. He is a loving puppy with a lot of energy. He loves to zig and zag (of course!) but he knows how to sit and wait for a treat. He looks like his ears are too big right now but he will grow into them! This dog has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and is current with shots according to its age. Adoption fee is $90.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ziggy, a Slidell Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Slidell, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Slidell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Slidell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Slidell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Slidell paves the way for another one to be saved.
