Harrington's Story...

Harrington 'Harry' the Yorkshire Terrier:  Harrington is a one year old Yorkshire Terrier. This beautiful toy boy came to Wish Bone via Animal Control. He is small but mighty! 'Harry' is very good with other dogs of similiar size. He is quiet in a crate and loves to be cuddled, of course. If you can give this little lover a home where he will be properly cared for, please apply ASAP, as he won't be around long!  (Yes, Harry is on his way to the groomer!!)  Minimum adoption donation $495.00.
Harrington has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, has been heartworm and fecal checked, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harrington, a Bloomington Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Bloomington, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Bloomington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomington paves the way for another one to be saved.
