Errol's Story...

Meet Errol, one of our 'Harry Potter' babies born on July 24th.  Mama dog is a beautiful brindle color and looks like a very small American Staffordshire Terrier.  The daddy dog is a 50-60 lb long-legged German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix.  Errol should be medium in size.   While his personality is still developing, Errol is a very sweet little guy with a calm disposition.   He will be neutered 9/22 and available to go to his new home on September 24th.  Errol has been wormed, received his first puppy vaccinations & is on flea/tick/heartworm preventatives.  He will be microchipped.  Minimum adoption donation:  $295.  You may apply to adopt now by visiting our website and completing the adoption application @ www.wishbonecaninerescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Errol, a Bloomington German Shepherd Dog/American Staffordshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Bloomington, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/American Staffordshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in Bloomington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomington paves the way for another one to be saved.
