Whitney's Story...

Whitney is a six week old, female American Pit Bull Terrier mix. We know that her mama (Bailey) is a beautiful, sweet black and white Pit Bull Terrier, but we have no idea what her papa is. Mama Bailey has a wonderful disposition  despite what she has been through since she came to us pregnant and from high kill shelter.  A $100 non-refundable deposit will hold Whitney.  She will be available for adoption in the first week of April. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, fecal checked, dewormed, and is on flea /tick preventatives. Her minimum adoption donation is $245.

To learn more about her and our adoption process, visit our website: www.wishbonecaninerescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Whitney, a Bloomington American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Bloomington, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Bloomington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomington paves the way for another one to be saved.
