Ferbie's Story...

How adorable is this guy!! This is Ferbie- a male Pomeranian. He's had a bit of a rough run. First, he was attacked by a big dog and lost his eye. Then, because his owners couldn't afford his vet bills they had to give him up. He is 10 years old and weighs a whopping 9 pounds. Won't you open your heart and home to this deserving guy? He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm and fecal checked, dewormed, and is on flea /tick and heartworm preventatives. His minimum adoption donation is $145.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ferbie, a Bloomington Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Bloomington, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Bloomington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomington paves the way for another one to be saved.
