Kenzie's Story...

Look at me! I am Kenzie! Kenzie is a five year old female tricolor Beagle, weighing about 15 pounds. She is very friendly and seems to adore children. Kenzie was found sniffing around in a field by a concerned citizen and brought to a local animal control facility. Unlike many Beagles, she doesn't seem to be a big barker. Kenzie would make a very nice addition to almost any home. Kenzie's foster mom reported this to us about Kenzie: 'Kenzie is both house and crate trained. She is super sweet, loving and calm. Kenzie is a really good girl. She has a cute little bark - not loud as many other Beagles. Kenzie is also a happy kid. She even wags her tail while she drinks water. She is not a big fan of dogs that bug her, so she would do best in a home with dogs that would treat her gently and respectfully. She will make anyone a great companion.'  She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm and fecal checked, dewormed, and is on flea /tick and heartworm preventatives. Minimum adoption donation $95.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kenzie, a Bloomington Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Bloomington, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Bloomington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomington paves the way for another one to be saved.
