Facts about Betty

  • Breed: Chihuahua Mix
  • Color: White
  • Age: Senior
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 9518771
Betty was found as a stray in West Sacramento and her family never came for her, which is so sad because she is older and you can tell she was someone's pet for many years. Betty is an approximately 10 to 15 year old chihuahua mix who weighs 10.3 lbs. At the shelter, poor Betty was shut down and depressed, but once out of the shelter environment, Betty liked to wander around and explore! She needs a nice, quiet home where she can relax and enjoy life again. Betty had a full exam by a vet and appears to be healthy, other than normal clouding of her eyes and the expected amount of dental plaque for her age.  It's clear that this poor sweetheart has been loved by someone for a long time, and is now confused as to why she's alone. She deserves a soft bed and a person that dotes on her!

If this posting is up, this dog is still available!

5. If the dog is a good match for your family, a volunteer will call you to set up a meeting. All of our canines are altered (spayed & neutered), puppies are started on their shots (DAPP), adults are up to date (rabies and DAPP) and have been heart worm tested (negative) and all dogs are microchipped. The adoption fee is $150 (which covers all of these costs) for all dogs and puppies. We also have special discounted adoption fees for Chihuahua mixes, at $100 for Chihuahua mix puppies and $50 for Chihuahua mix adults.

THERE IS NO SHELTER FOR YOU TO VISIT BECAUSE WE ARE A FOSTER BASED ORGANIZATION. IF YOU ARE READING THIS THEN WE ARE STILL ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS, WE REMOVE OUR ANIMALS FROM OUR SITE WHEN THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED.

The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit animal rescue organization. All of our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. For more general questions please visit www.yolospca.org or contact us through email at (dogs@yolospca.org).
