Dutchess's Story...
Hello my name is Dutchess! I'm a 7 year old sweetheart that wants nothing more than to cuddle up with you and go on short walks. My previous owner left me alone for around 12 hours a day and I really didn't like that so I need shorter times if you are gone, otherwise I will need a crate. I'm already housebroken and know a few tricks, as well as am very well-behaved in public. I was even brought in a doggy parade and did well with everyone and everything I met! I'm an older gal so I'm not up for extreme long distances, but I'm a great family pet and I would love to be yours! Fill out an adoption application at www.al-van.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dutchess, a South Haven Rottweiler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in South Haven, or seeking a Rottweiler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in South Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Rottweiler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
