My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Elvis : 7 month old male Egyptian Mau / DSH mix

Once upon a time, a lovely, little Egyptian Mau kitty, feeling amorous, went out one night searching for admirers. She easily found a few. One must have been one of those irresistible red tabby boys. She gave birth to her babies in her new foster home. Elvis and Eli are the two red kittens from that litter.

These two gorgeous brothers need to go home together. (No exceptions to this.) Elvis was the most outgoing of the whole litter from day one. We had originally named him Marco Polo for his desire to see and explore the whole world. He is a confident, mischievous, loving boy. His coat is a darker red than his brother. Yes, he is a goofball and comedian.

Eli is a very sweet, loving boy with a lighter red coat. He is no slouch in the fun department; he just tends to follow the lead of his big brother. He is at times a little shy, though this varies, and will likely fade as he matures. He is a sensitive kitten and a big lovebug when he knows you. He loves attention. Their colors have always been the easy way to tell them apart and Eli has just had a growth spurt and is now noticeably bigger than Elvis.

These two boys have such perfect lines. They are very elegant. As you can see below, they are a photographer’s dream. Elvis and Eli are playful, loving, happy kittens, and some family will be so lucky to have their beautiful presence and entertaining companionship in their home.

They eat wet and dry food and are litterbox perfect.

Their foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
